Just 80 miles from Sacramento, Boreal is a very conveniently located and with its huge slopeside parking lot, getting on the slopes is hassle-free. Forty one trails and 300 acres of skiable terrain are serviced by 9 lifts and the resort benefits from 400″ of annual snowfall.

Boreal has been a long time favorite among snowboarders as its slopes have been open to riders since 1980. Today, the resort features two halfpipes, a terrain park and clinics are offered 7 days per week. Beginner packages include free lessons until a guest can snowboard from the summit to the base.
